4 Rules High Achievers Never Break

Posted by on Feb 2, 2014

1. Enjoy the journey as much or more than the destination. Many people are only satisfied when they have reached a certain conclusion. They are happy only when the work is done to their satisfaction levels. That is all well and good, but true high achievers enjoy the process as much, if not more than the end result. To become a true high achiever, you need to take the time to enjoy where you are in the journey. If you enjoy the processes you perform on a daily basis, you too will be able to achieve more. 2. Set goals that are reasonable and doable. High achievers meet the goals that they set for themselves because the goals that they are setting are achievable. Do not set yourself up for failure by setting lofty goals that no person in their right mind would ever be able to achieve. Instead, break your long term goals up into smaller, more manageable short term ones. If you can meet or exceed a new short term goal on a daily or weekly basis, you too will be well on your way to high achievement. 3. Have great coping mechanisms. High achievers are people who can cope well when the stress level surrounding them gets high. This is not because they are super human. No, high achievers are able to deal so well with stress because they have developed a series of great coping mechanisms that help them deal with stress while remaining in control of their lives. 4. Know when to quit. Finally, high achievers are able to achieve so much because they know when to quit. They know when they need a break and they know when they need to step back for a week or two. High achievers understand that in order to continue achieving at such a high level, they need to take the time that they need to stay sane and mentally healthy. Do not run yourself into the ground in the name of high achievement, cut yourself some slack from time to time. See, it is truly not that difficult to set yourself on the path to high achievement. Start creating abundance in your life now

Creating Abundance Differently   Attract Abundance Creating abundance isn’t always done with savvy business decisions, wise investments and betting on the right horse at the track. While those things can be part of making financial gains because they show belief in the act of attempting to get more money, however it’s not necessary for you to have money to begin creating abundance. The starting point is a mindset and a set of beliefs the you can, and a willingness to act  and think in a postive manner. Check out the best selling book “The Secret” It’s a great read with valuable insights. If that goes against most teachings when it comes to money, especially the cliché that to make money you have to spend money, then it’s time to start viewing money and prosperity differently. In those examples, each act required money to start with. But if you look closer, they have something else in common. Each of those acts has the person basically acting on the faith that they can benefit from what they’re doing. The person betting on the horse has faith that his horse can win and give him a financial gain. The person investing into a business or the stock market has faith that the decision can make him money. Each one is aware that there is a risk in using these methods of creating abundance. Yet they do it in the faith that it can work for them, and in the hope that it will. It’s that act of faith and that belief that’s much more important in those examples than the fact that they had money to lose to start with. Not everyone who makes a risky business decision will see financial gain. And every horse cannot win. So there’s no way that every person, no matter how much belief they have, can make money in this way. Yet creating abundance in your own life is possible, and it doesn’t require, like in the case of the horse better, than others lose so that you may win. Same Old Thinking… Same Results Foremost is the belief that the universe provides abundantly. There is more than enough for everyone. No one has to go hungry so that another can eat; no one has to lose so that another can win. There is enough for everyone, but everyone does not  know this and this is why so many have to little. Once you start to believe that there is enough for you without it meaning that there will be less for someone else, then you free the way for yourself to start creating abundance in your life. And once you believe that it’s not necessary to spend money to make money, you’ve cleared another hurdle that holds many back. By simply allowing yourself to view money and prosperity differently, and choosing to believe that what you think can affect what you have, you can change your life. If you think positive thoughts, you will attract positivity. If you let yourself believe that you can have what you want, you open the door to achieving it. Practice every day deciding that you can have the things that you believe you can have. Using positive thought and this type of belief are the most important steps in creating abundance in your life. Are you ready for change – Personal Development 101

What is Your Personal Development Growth I.Q.? Have you done a personal growth checklist on your life lately?  Many goals are never reached due to lack of self-assessments. It is frightening and overwhelming to sit down and have to face yourself. Yet, in order for personal development to happen, it is exactly what you must do. Your starting point Get yourself a small notebook to be used for all thoughts concerning you.  Inside these pages you will keep notes, to-do lists, inspirations and basically, everything about you. When you put yourself on paper consistently, it becomes a life management bible. Seeing who we are in written form is magic to personal growth. There is value contained here about your purpose in living. By privately writing down your daily to-do’s, aspirations, or even 5 year plans, these pages outline where your life is going. Where your life has been. The notebook becomes your intimate novel to personal development growth. It makes you self-aware of your behaviors and habits. It puts your dreams in your face to encourage self-actualization. No matter how terrifying the pen gets, you have opportunity to change your life on the very next page. Mastering your growth Getting your personal development growth I.Q. involves mastering the pages you’ve written about yourself into new pages of re-inventing yourself and your circumstances.  It is through doing a consistent assessment of your life, and bravely finding new ways to approach setbacks. Questions about who you are and where you are going are constant within these pages. You have made yourself accountable for your life by writing everything down. It is easier to take personal responsibility for what happens to you if you acknowledge it with a pen. You cannot grow if you do not know. So much happens to us in the course of a day and can easily be missed as an opportunity for growth. By keeping notes, it can be measured and evaluated. Days can melt into months, and years, leaving us in the exact same spot as we began. And then the moment comes where we wonder why our life didn’t turn out the way we planned.  It is because time moves forward, and so should we. Develop Your Mindset Consider this your self bible, your life instructions. Critique yourself honestly. Applaud the little successes you see, (this is important, so be sure to do it) because had you not wrote them down you probably would have missed them entirely. Life is a continual process of renewal and opportunity. To measure your personal development growth I.Q., look back on the pages of yesterday and see if you have climbed ladders or fell steps down. Then ask yourself the following questions: What can be learned? What is within my power to change? How will I recreate myself in a small way tomorrow? Even one step different than the one before begins a new path. By writing all of you down on paper you have made yourself aware of you. Awareness acknowledges our existence in this world. As the saying goes, Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.                                                                                                  – Albert Einstein Read more at http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/a/alberteins133991.html#rWwjJJ1F199RJ65M.99 The added bonus People get their thoughts and emotions all bottled up sometimes, and this creates pressure and stress. An added bonus of creating this book of you is purging your thoughts on paper is a release. What is inside you should come out to keep a healthy mind and attitude. This is why journals exist. This is a reason people have day timers and diaries. Humans can take in so much information daily, and  then swirl...
